Yoga is a vehicle for change
It begins with ourselves but when its done with intention and attention, it will not only calm your mind and strengthen your body, but also change how you live and how you love in this world.
This is why yoga has traditionally been considered a "spiritual" practice.
But don't let that scare you...
BlissWorks Yoga believes that the teachings are given through the wisdom of the body, not by a teacher or guru. It has been both my personal experience and the experience of the hundreds of students whom I have guided throughout the years.
No dogma, no religion, no ego trips...
I teach simple yoga...the breath is the vehicle. Without attention to the breath, we are doing gymnastics, not yoga. With attention to the breath, we can practice in our car, in our office, if we are elderly or pregnant or injured. Postures and alignment flow from understanding of the breath. This is the teachings of the masters, many of whom I have had the great privilege of learning from.
My vision is to guide you in finding the yoga practice that is right for you, through my classes or private sessions.
Welcome, take a look around and imagine the possibilities!
